在低功耗應用中，DC-DC的靜態功耗和關閉功耗是兩個很重要的指標，這兩個值一般都很小uA級別，實際測試會有很多的機器誤差，需要使用精密的電流源。有些時候用公式計算，也可以作為輔助，本文給出計算公式。

空載時輸入電流的計算公式為：

is the into the pin

is the output voltage of the boost converter

is the input voltage of the boost converter， or the battery voltage

is the efficiency when the boost converter is switching

is the into the pin

is the current of the feedback resistor divider

is the load current

和都是已知的，空載時為0，為輸出電壓除以兩個反饋電阻之和，BOOST的效率一般較高，可以選擇85%~90%，最好根據實際測試情況得出。

和一般DC-DC的SPEC中會給出。

TI實際測試值和公式計算值進行對比，還是非常接近的。
