The Design and Implementation of A Tiny Embedded Database System CHEN Jian
(Department of Computer Science &Technology, Sichuan TOP Vocational Institute of Information Technology, Chengdu 611743, China) Abstract: In order to use database in a tiny Embedded System, this paper designs a tiny Embedded Database System, consisting of three parts: the Database Cross-management Tool, the Database and the Application Programming Interface(API). In addition to presenting the functions of each part of the system, the paper presents and describes the structure of the Database, the Database Allocation Table(DAT), the Data-table, the Index-table and the main functions of the API, and gives an introduction to an example to verify the system.
